What’s On in Prague This Week

Hohoho, Christmas is here. Let’s finish the advent strong. Get inspired about what’s on in Prague this week.  Many choirs will sing the Czech traditional Christmas mass “Rybova mše vánoční – Rybovka” at various places:

December 19 – St. Vitus Cathedral, 7 p.m. – 8 p.m.
December 20 – Church at Jiřího z Poděbrad, 8 p.m. – 9 p.m.
December 20 – Salvator church, 11 a.m.
December 22 – Letná, “U Letenského zámečku”, 3 p.m.
December 23 – Main Railway station, 1 p.m.

December 21 – December 22
Mint Market
Last chance to buy the design, fashion and artwork pieces from Czech designers
When: 11a.m. – 6p.m.

December 25 – December 31
Prague Week of Sport for Free
During this week you can try various sports for free. Many different sport centers, fitness and swimming pools in Prague are involved in this initiative, so start making a reservation in advance)

December 20 – December 22
Prague Youth Film Festival
You can see up to 25 short films from young producers out of 17 different countries
When: 5 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Where: Cinema Dlabačov, Chapeau Rouge, NODu
Ticket price 120 CZK

Friday Nightmarket
Come to enjoy good food and listen to the songs of the Austrian singer Marley Wildthing.
When: 6:30 p.m. – 8: 30 p.m.
Where: Manifesto market Florenc.

December 25
Christmas Day Brunch with Santa
If you are looking for Santa in Prague, go to the brunch at Hilton on Christmas day. You can indulge yourself with an unlimited buffet full of festive treats, live music in the background while your kids will enjoy a special visit from Santa with a lot of gifts and games in the kids’ corner. Price 1090CZK per person, kids till 6yo for free.
When: noon – 3 p.m.
Where: Hilton Prague, Atrium restaurant

Be aware that shops will stay closed on December 25 and December 26th.
