Unemployment holds steady at 4.8 percent as job vacancies increase

Macinka would like to complete embassy move to Jerusalem

Fruit harvest in Czech Republic expected to fall by 53% after spring frosts
This year's fruit harvest in the Czech Republic is expected to drop by 53 percent compared with last year due to severe spring frosts, falling from 146,243 tonnes in 2025 to 68,445 tonnes. Compared with the average of the past five years, the harvest is forecast to be 44 percent lower, according to an estimate carried out by the Central Institute for Supervising and Testing in Agriculture as of 15 June.
