Czechia Keeps One of EU’s Smallest Pension Gaps
The gap between men’s and women’s pensions is one of the lowest in the European Union. According to Eurostat, women over 65 in the EU receive pensions that are, on average, 24.5–25% lower than those of men of the same age. In the Czech Republic, the gap is 9.6%.

Over 40% of Czechs Waste Money on Forgotten Subscriptions
More than 40% of Czech residents continue to pay for subscriptions they rarely or never use, according to Dynata survey data and Revolut statistics. A total of 82% of respondents have at least one active subscription, with 49% paying for one or two services, and another 29% for three to five. More than 60% spend over 500 CZK per month on subscriptions, while one in five spends more than 1,200 CZK.
