Czech Regions Show 15-Year Difference in Longevity

Demographers from Charles University reported that the highest life expectancy in the Czech Republic was recorded in the town of Nové Město nad Metují, while the lowest was in Bílina, with a gap of nearly 15 years. In some regions, people can expect to live up to 86 years, particularly around Brno and in the east of the country, while figures in industrial north-western areas are significantly lower, by about seven years.

Prague Sends More Buses to Ukraine

Prague has handed over eight buses to Ukraine, sent to Khmelnytskyi and Borodianka as part of cooperation between the city and Prague 6. The vehicles are not new but remain operational and ready for use. Since the start of the war, the Czech capital has donated 84 buses and trams to Ukraine free of charge.
