Prague bans outdoor fires as dry weather raises wildfire risk
Prague authorities have banned the lighting of fires in parks, forests, gardens and other natural areas across the Czech capital because of an increased wildfire risk. Smoking, discarding cigarette butts and using pyrotechnics are also banned in designated high-risk areas.

Macinka would like to complete embassy move to Jerusalem
Czech Foreign Minister Petr Macinka (Motorists) said he would like to complete the relocation of the Czech embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem by the end of his term in office. He told journalists this after a meeting with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar at Prague’s Černín Palace.

Data-stealing malware remains top cyber threat in Czechia
The most common malware threat targeting Windows computers in Czechia in April was CloudEyE, a malicious program used to download other harmful software, according to cybersecurity company ESET. It accounted for more than one in five detected Windows alware cases, despite its activity dropping from the previous month.
