Red Arrows flypast over Prague cancelled
A planned flypast over Prague by the BAE Hawk T1 jets of the Royal Air Force’s renowned Red Arrows aerobatic team will not take place on Friday. The Czech Army said the cancellation was due to operational and organisational reasons.

Czechia has third-lowest inflation in EU
Inflation in the European Union accelerated to 3.2 percent year-on-year in August, up from three percent in July, according to Eurostat. In Czechia, consumer prices rose by 1.5 percent, compared with 1.3 percent in July. This gave the Czech Republic the third-lowest inflation rate in the EU, behind Sweden and Estonia.

Tram disruptions in central Prague due to track repairs
Tram services have been suspended across part of central Prague as the city's public transport operator (DPP) carries out track repairs in Spálená and Národní streets and on Vítězná Street near Újezd. The disruption affects the section between the Újezd and Lazarská stops. No replacement bus service has been introduced. The works are scheduled to continue until Monday, August 10.
