What’s On in Prague This Week

September is a month of wine festivals and “Burčák” – a young partially fermented wine. Many wine festivals have been canceled this year but there are still some great ones happening this week. Stay tuned!

September 8 – September 28
Praha září! Jdu ven! – a common program of Czech festivals – all in one place. Great concerts, theatre, cinema, circus performances, entertainment for kids. Check out the program and buy your tickets in advance as the capacity is limited.
Where: Market hall Holešovice

September 9
Malalata Daytime – another great and vibrant concert of reggae, hip hop, and electro music.
Where: Radlická cultural center
When: starts at 5 p.m.

September 10
Autentikfest in winebar Bokovka. Wine tasting.
Where: Dlouhá 37, Prague 1
When: 5p.m. – 11:30 p.m.

September 10
Prosecco party at Lucerna rooftop

September 11 – September 12
Vinohradské vinobraní – a wine festival in Vinohrady – this year on various places: JzP, Kostnické náměstí, Žižkov beer garden, under Žižkov tower.
When: Friday starting at 2 p.m., Saturday starting at 10 a.m.

September 11 – September 15
Mexico Prague international film festival
Where: Kino Pilotů
When: starts at 5:30 p.m

September 13
Beer & Burger festival in Karlín. Taste great burgers from several Karlín restaurants and taste top-brewed beers style IPA, ALE, STOUT.
When: 11a.m. – 8p.m.
Where: Karlín square

September 13 – September 14
Žižkovské mezidvorky – Žižkov neighborhood festival
Where: Havlíček square
When: starting at noon

September 13
Wine fest in the monastery in Řepy
Where: Domov sv. Karla Boromějského

September 12 – September 13
Wine fest at Točník castle
When: starts at 11 a.m.
