For bike commuters, Copenhagen is still the city to wish you lived in. A new ranking of over 100 global cities puts the famously bike-friendly Danish capital at the top of the 2017 Copenhagenize Index.
The index measures 13 different criteria for each city, from infrastructure like bike lanes, racks, or bike share programs, to the political and cultural climate for cyclists and the percentage of commuters using bikes instead of cars.
1. Copenhagen, Denmark
You`ve probably thought it was going to be Amsterdam again, but surprise, surprise: Copenhagen made it to the first place this year! Over the past few years, Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark has benefited from the multiple investments in a new infrastructure and innovative solutions.
Bicycle rental: Rarely you will find a person living in Copenhagen that does not own a bike. However, due to the big amount of tourists, many bike rental agencies have been opened and are ready to serve you. 3. Utrecht, Netherlands

5. Eindhoven, Netherlands
