If you consider yourself a fan of beer and traditional Czech pubs, then you should definitely know Restaurace U Veverky.
They offer both – draft beer from the tank and delicious food that also goes perfectly with beer. We had an opportunity to try some of the dishes from their new menu – beef tartar with toasts, grilled rib-eye steak from high-quality meat with baked potato and fish & chips from Mahi-mahi fish with homemade fries and mint peas.
We have to say that the food was genuinely DELICIOUS – we haven’t had such good fish and steak for a long time! Tartar was also perfectly flavored. You can sit outside and from 25/5 on you can also sit inside.
The staff was very nice and the location is great as well – just a few steps from Hradčanská metro station. Have you heard of this restaurant before?

About Restaurace U Veverky
This highly rated traditional pub has some of the best-tasting and best-value lunches in the city and is worth a detour. The set-up is classic, with a drinking room out the front and two big dining rooms in the back. The restaurant is filled with the welcoming smell of grilled onions and beer. Reserve in advance.
