Rašínovo and Hořejší nábřeží will be connected by a new regular ferry service. Praguers and tourists will be able to travel faster between the two banks of the Vltava River.
The ferry, called Šemík, will be operated by the well-known Prague Venice company. The first boat will leave this Friday, July 10, from the Smíchov side. Šemík has a capacity of 40 passengers and is wheelchair accessible.
The ferry will operate every day from 10 am to 10 pm. On Saturday, the service starts at 7:30.
However, the Prague Venice company warns that the timetable may change during the year according to the number of passengers.
The ticket price per person is CZK 20.
