A team of scientists from the Faculty of Information Technology at the Czech Technical University in Prague has won the international Weather4cast NeurIPS Competition in New Orleans, Czech Television reported on Tuesday. The aim of the competition was to predict as accurately as possible precipitation based off satellite data collected over a period of two years in seven selected regions.

Large crowds have gathered to view the exhibition of the Bohemian Crown Jewels in Prague’s Saint Vitus Cathedral, the Czech News Agency reports. The first visitors started gathering as early as 6am to see the symbols of Czech statehood that are only rarely displayed to the public.
