BREAKING: in the Czech Republic ALL the Monuments and Sculptures Have to Wear a Face Mask
On Wednesday, April 1, the Czech Ministry of Happiness took another measure to fight the spread of coronavirus. Municipal authorities are ordered to put on masks on all the monuments and sculptures depicting animals and people.
The main goals of this measure are:
– constantly remind residents of the obligation to wear a face mask, or piece of cloth covering the nose and mouth;
– set a good example for children;
– cheer up the citizens.
Many municipalities have already complied with the order. For example, a face mask was put on Franz Kafka’s head near Prague metro Národní třída.
