God (and my fiancé) knows how much I love to have a good breakfast in Prague. If you ask me, I could eat breakfast all the time. Lunch, dinner, snack – you name it. Nothing beats a good old smoothie bowl as an afternoon snack.

Can you imagine how happy I was to discover that the Prague breakfast/brunch scene is not only consisted of sausages and eggs? Quite the contrary, it’s full of many options for everyone. Vegetarians, vegans but also meat lovers will all find something for them.

I visited quite a lot of brunch places in Prague. With some of them, I was super happy, while some of them disappointed. Below you can find which one I liked the best.

Cafefin

Namesti Jiřího z Poděbrad 4, 120 00 Praha

Cafefin is definitely my favorite breakfast/brunch spot in Prague. I went there a lot of times and I was never unhappy with the service or the food. Their menu is diverse and healthy with decent size portions.

Bad thing is that they change the menu from time to time, so sometimes you don’t know what to expect. It gets crowded during breakfast time, so you have to be lucky to catch a spot.

You can find more information here. Please note that they don’t take reservations.

Muj Salek Kavy

Křižíkova 386/105, 186 00 Praha 8-Karlín

Last year when I visited Muj Salek Kavy, I wasn’t that happy with it. I don’t know, everything seemed more or less fine, but the vibe I was getting from the waiters wasn’t good. But this year I went again, and I was blown away with good service and excellent food. So I’m happy to say that Muj Salek Kavy is a great choice for breakfast in Prague.

I didn’t like the fact they charge 10 crowns for tap water. It is for charity but still, I don’t like the concept of charging for tapped water. Their prices are high enough that the owner can donate even without charging for tap water.

Anyhow, I liked the place and I recommend it. You can check their menu here.

Monolok Café

Moravská 1540/18, 120 00 Praha 2-Vinohrady, Praha

Seriously, you have to go there and eat the best goat cheese omelet.  It’s divine and, when I was there last time, prices were more than ok. My colleague recommended me to try their avocado toast. Apparently, that’s their most famous dish. Well, something for next time? ?

All information about this place can be found on their website.

Marty’s kitchen

Masarykovo nábř. 2016/6, 120 00 Nové Město, Czechia / Francouzská 13, 120 00 Praha 2-Vinohrady, Czechia

Although very different in style, both locations of Marty’s kitchen are a good choice for brunch. The location in Vinohrady is smaller and features only a few tables. Contrary to that, the location on Masarykovo Nabrezi is bigger with a larger outdoor sitting area.

I prefer the one near to the river more because of its location and interior style only. You can find their menus here.

And that would be a wrap, but only for now. I’ looking forward to exploring new places and trying new dishes. There are many more and I will sure try some of them in the future so expect this list to be updated soon.

And this is where I need your help: what is your favorite brunch place in Prague? Do you agree with my list? Let’s discuss in the comments ?
