The offer of air connections between the Czech Republic and Ukraine is richer today.

Ukrainian Airlines SkyUp has begun operating in Prague with a flight to Lviv. Gradually, in the upcoming days’ flights to Kharkiv and the route from Pardubice to Kyiv will be added.

Flights between Prague and Lviv will occur twice a week, on Thursday and Sunday. Flights to Kharkiv will be on the same day.

The route from Pardubice to Kyiv will be in operation from the 22nd of October on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. “The new connections to Kharkiv and Lviv will support the tourism of both countries. In addition to Czech passengers, it will be used mainly by Ukrainian tourists, which have recently been increasing in the Czech Republic. At the same time, it will also help travel between the Czech Republic and other destinations in Ukraine for the large Ukrainian community that has been living and working here for a long time,” said Prague Airport spokeswoman Kateřina Pavlíková.

SkyUp cannot fly between Prague and Kyiv directly due to air agreements with Ukraine. That is why flights to Kyiv will be from Pardubice, only an hour distant from Prague.

The air connection between the Czech Republic and Ukraine is not yet well developed. Czech Airlines will increase this winter the number of flights to Kyiv.

Transport between the Czech Republic and Ukraine has been growing recently, due to the entrance of Ukrainian employees into the Czech Republic and the growing interest of Czech tourists.
