Prague to Host Motorbike Rally to Celebrate President-Elect’s Inauguration
On Thursday, March 9th, a motorbike rally called “Highway to Hrad” will take place in the Prague city centre to coincide with the inauguration of Czech President-elect Petr Pavel, a known motorcycle enthusiast.
The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Výstaviště Praha Exhibition Grounds, where participants can ride all types and models of motorcycles.
The rally will begin at 11:00 a.m., with riders traveling through the main city streets, including Wenceslas Square and Old Town Square, before concluding at Strahov.
The Prague Harley-Davidson Club Praha is the main organizer of the event, and authorities have been notified that up to 800 motorbikes will participate, though the exact number is uncertain.
Last Thursday, Petr Pavel attended the Veletrh Motocykl motorbike exhibition in Prague’s Letňany district, arriving on his own motorcycle.
