Prague to Celebrate Indian Independence Day

The 15th of August marks another international landmark day here in Prague – it’s Indian Independence Day and Prague’s Sunil Chawla is putting on a great party to make sure the day is celebrated in style!

Best known for NEBU, his Indian fusion restaurant in Nebusice, and NEBU at Florences’ Manifesto, Sunil used to own Club Fresh – the largest and most famous Nightclub in Goa – regular A-listers such as Paris Hilton, Shah Rukh Khan India’s top Bollywood Star and Lara Dutta, Miss Universe 2000.

The party starts from 6 pm at NEBU Manifesto, with Indian music, Indian food specialties and Indian street food before ‘Dance Sandeep’ (a professional Indian dancer and choreographer living in Prague who specializes in Bollywood, South Indian Street Dance and Urban Dance) and his team take to the stage to keep you entertained and keep the party atmosphere going well into the night.

Manifesto closes at 10 pm, but if you think that’s the end of Indian Independence Day – you’re wrong! The after-party moves on to an exclusive event at one of Prague’s latest and hottest party venues, the Bam Bu Dah, the newly renovated boat at Liben Most.

And to celebrate, NEBU and Bam Bu Dah are delighted to announce that they are bringing – for the first time ever to Prague – the renowned MAXI STORRS!

Maxi Storrs

There are many musical artists that list hip-hop, soul, disco, house, techno, breakbeat, electro, and new wave as influences, but very few would try to fit all them all into one set. Maxi Storrs is one of the few who takes on the challenge of doing just that.
