Kateřina and Tereza, food lovers who run the successful Instagram channel kamvpraze, will share with us at Prague Morning a weekly food tip. We’ll discover together new openings in the city, hidden cafes, bistros, or well-renowned restaurants.
Spojka Karlín is a great addition to the restaurants in Prague 8. This place was opened quite recently but thanks to its outstanding philosophy (Food connects us), delicious food made of high-quality ingredients, an amazing interior full of plants, and friendly atmosphere, it is already pretty successful.
The quality of ingredients as well as the combination of tastes forming one great dish is a must there. In their menu, you can find many extraordinary vegetarians as well as meat-based combinations.
Moreover, during the workweek, you can always find here a lunch menu, which we tried during our visit. We got an amazing salad with duck breast and hummus with grilled vegetable and pitta bread. We were especially amazed by the hummus – it is surely as good as our so far most favorite hummus in Prague from Paprika.
The restaurant also offers breakfast and brunch menu and coffee & cakes, which we definitely have to try during our next visit. During your visit, you will also be amazed by the beautiful interior full of plants and very friendly staff.
The prices are higher, reflecting high-quality ingredients used as well as their original combinations in served dishes. However, you can always find something cheaper in their daily offer.

Spojka Karlín is a place that aims to bring together at one table all those who want to eat well, no matter what their dining style. The emphasis here is placed on the quality of the ingredients and the overall approach to them. Always fresh and always local – vegetables and herbs from their own garden and organic meat from Czech farms. They also offer fresh gluten- and sugar-free homemade bread and desserts.
