Visitors who want to celebrate New Year’s Eve at Old Town Square can expect a seven-hour show with performances of domestic and world hits from the 1950s to the present, market organizer Taiko announced in a press release.
The New Year’s Eve show at Old Town Square will start at 5 pm and will last until midnight.
So Fine plays American and English pop and rock hits from the 1960s until the present, with some original material. The band is fronted by guitarist and vocalist Declan Guckian. Three Czech musicians join him.
Mikael van Dikeen plays dance music and has been nominated for awards for some of his remixes. His self-proclaimed mission is to save dance music. Aside from performing in the Czech Republic, he is popular in Germany.
Police and other security and rescue services have announced that they will have a high presence and that emergency vehicles will be on hand. Streets near the square will be closed to traffic. The metro will run until 2 am.
