Establishing itself as the Czechian capital’s most revered multi-genre music festival, Metronome Festival Prague continues to produce eclectic, impressive lineups year-upon-year, showcasing a diverse roster of artists ranging from budding talents to legendary icons; recent years have seen the likes of Kraftwerk, The Chemical Brothers, Liam Gallagher, and Iggy Pop all perform, with British dance icons Underworld taking the headliner mantle in 2020.
The first foreign headliner announced for this year was Underworld! “It will be a singular event and the biggest show we’ve ever produced,” the band said. The duo that hails from Cardiff has been performing its brand of electronica for nearly thirty years while remaining relevant and shaping today’s modern music. The new album Drift Songs is Underworld’s first studio effort in three years.
