UPDATE: The perpetrator was arrested. This was stated by a spokesman for the Prague police.
A man armed with a machete killed a teacher in a school in Prague on Thursday morning, police said.
Novinky.cz reports that the suspect attacked a vocational school in Ohradní Street in Michle.
“An unknown perpetrator attacked one of the teachers of the secondary school in Prague 4 with a machete. Unfortunately, he did not survive the attack. The perpetrator fled the scene and several hundred police are now searching for him. A helicopter is also being deployed. The weapon was left behind after the attack,” police said on Twitter.

“Police are currently investigating the motive for this terrible act,” police spokesman Jan Rybanský said.
