Take a journey back to the history lane and taste traditional dishes based on recipes featured in a cookbook from 1905.
You will have an opportunity to savor German, Austrian and Hungarian dishes that became the base for what we now call modern Czech cuisine.
The feast is accompanied by local wines and beer, and live piano music from the times of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire.
“We wanted to create a feast where guests can taste many different dishes and don’t have to sit at the table all evening,” says Martin Bohacek, Executive Chef of Augustine Restaurant.
“We wanted to keep the simplicity of the dishes originating in the times of Emperor Franz Joseph while also implementing modern processes and using only the best ingredients. I was inspired by a cookbook that I found at home after my ancestors. I wanted to go back to our roots and celebrate Czech history with the modern time feast for our local and international guests.”
The buffet offers various delicacies such as goose liver pâté, venison tartar, wild boar ribs, tafelspitz, duck confit and much more, accompanied with bottomless local wine and beer.
The all-you-can-eat buffet and beverages cost CZK 1390 per person, children under 12 years have a 50% discount and children under 6 consume for free.
Every Thursday from 6 PM till 10 PM in Augustine restaurant, starting October 14th, 2021. Reserve a table at restaurant.augustine@luxurycollection.com
