10 Choirs Join the 4th ON STAGE in Prague 2019 From November 7-10

Since 2016, the annual ON STAGE series in Prague continues to attract choirs from all over the world. For its 4^th edition, 250 singers and 10 choirs from China, Ghana, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Romania, Spain, Ukraine, and the Czech Republic will be filling the beautiful streets of Prague in a celebration of the magic and old-world beauty the city inspires in everyone.

The festival will open on November 7th with a warm welcome to the participating choirs for their first musical stopover – the Welcoming Concert – at the Congress Hall of the “Hotel International Prague”.

The choral journey continues the following day with a guided Singing Tour in Prague’s top attractions – imagine voices from all over the world in an amazing parade of songs creating some unique emotional moments for everyone.

The afternoon continues with a workshop about local choral music and tradition at the Prague Hlahol, held by maestro Jan Míšek, a conductor and composer who is also is the founder and head of the much-awarded BONIFANTES Boys Choir and the Czech Soloist Ensemble Consort.

The event will have a wonderful Closing Concert at 18:00 at the Kostel sv. Šimona a Judy, where all choirs will gather to give their own special performance as well as sing the Czech pieces studied during the workshop, which will join together all 250 voices in unison.

This edition of the event comes with a special arrangement of the Farewell Dinner – singers will be dining on a boat over the waters of the Vltava River enjoying Prague’s old-world charm and hearing their singing voices echo through the waters! Definitely, a magical experience not to miss!
