New Year's fireworks in the capital have traditionally been held on New Year's Day at 6 pm. 

The firework will commemorate the 100th anniversary of Czechoslovakia, which was established on October 28, 1918. The organizers will use national colors; and it will end with tones of the national anthems.

The fireworks will be fired at Letná on January 1 at 6 pm. The show will last 660 seconds ie. 11 minutes.
