Due to the celebrations marking the 700th anniversary of the birth of Charles IV, the Czech Crown Jewels will make a rare public appearance and be on view, completely free of charge.

The Czech Crown Jewels consist of the Crown of Saint Wenceslas, the Royal Sceptre and the Royal Orb, together with a bag and coronation mantle with ermine accessories. The rarest of these items is the Crown of Saint Wenceslas, designed by Czech King and Holy Roman Emperor, Charles IV in 1346.

Normally, the public only get a chance to see the Crown Jewels during the election of the President of the Czech Republic.
The Jewels will be displayed at Prague Castle.
