‘Open House’ is a simple but powerful concept: showcasing outstanding architecture for all to experience, completely for free.

The first Open House Prague took place in 2015 and was very well received by the public. Over 38,000 people visited 33 buildings in the center of the city.

The portfolio of opened buildings for 2017 will include historical palaces, newly constructed housing projects, modern office buildings and technological complexes such as a brewery, a historical gasometer or a tower with telecommunication equipment. People can visit more than 40 buildings and spaces not usually open to the public.

Open House Praha is part of the worldwide net of city festivals Open House Worldwide uniting Open House festivals in more than 30 cities (London, New York, Rome, Barcelona, Helsinki, Vienna, …)

Maps and other information will be available at the event’s info center at Hybernská 4 in Prague 1. There is also a free app for Android and iOS available.
