But I bet what you did not know was that the most recent film, released back in 2005, was in fact shot right here in the Czech Republic.The place famous for such a role?A unique and stunningly beautiful place called The Adršpach-Teplice Rocks. 

The ‘Narnia Gate’ as featured in the blockbuster film

In northeastern Bohemia,  this hidden gem covers an area of 17 km2 and is a set of unusual and some comically shaped natural sandstone formations, such as the tooth and the kissing rocks. Since 1933, this site has been classed as a protected national nature reserve.

You can wonder the many laid out paths through the park, following the visitors guide map to make sure you don’t miss the best views. You will find an amazing photo opportunity at every turn, whether it’s a high up point looking over the expanse of the park or whether it’s walking in-between the crevices and narrow cracks in the rocks themselves. You’ll find secret hidden waterfalls, stunning lakes to walk around and all while enjoying views of the Czech Bohemian countryside at the same time. Making it a perfect place for a day trip to natures own film set.
