Prague’s public transportation company DPP announced that the toilet facilities throughout the city’s metro system would be undergoing an extensive renovation.

Within five years, the transport company wants to modernize the toilets in 25 stations.

The company plans to raise the price of using the metro toilets for patrons, who currently pay 5 CZK for the privilege. That will double to 10 CZK, according to a DPP spokesperson.

You can already check out the new-look toilets at Můstek metro station. The renovations are running at Anděl and Náměstí republiky. In March, they will begin at Vltavská, Budějovická and Jiřího z Poděbrad.

The total cost of the renovation is estimated to come to 118 million crowns.
