Station Jinonice (yellow line) of the Prague metro will be closed for six months from January 7th until August 7th 2017.
The station will undergo a complete reconstruction, including new ceiling light fixtures, wall and floor tiles, as well as modern electrical equipment. The work will cost 154 million crowns without VAT.
For six months, the metro train will pass through the station without stopping. Reconstruction began on November 1st, but at this stage, it does not require the closure of the platform.
In 2017 stations Palmovka, Opatov, Muzeum (A), Dejvická and Skalka will also undergo reconstruction and modernization.
