A taxi driver in Prague charged a foreign tourist 650 crowns for a 3-kilometer ride, Irena Seifertová, a spokesman for the police, told the Czech News Agency. It happened last Thursday.

The tourist had to take a cab to go from Kozí street to Žitná street. An average fare for such a ride would be up to 150 crowns.

He filed a criminal complaint against the driver, who is now being investigated by the police.
