Prague’s Václav Havel Airport will have ten new direct flight destinations by the end of the year.

Starting August 21, Václav Havel Airport will have regular, direct flights to Doha, Qatar. Towards the end of October, eight more connections by the Irish low-cost airline Ryanair will be available. Destinations include Krakow, Barcelona and Eindhoven. Additionally, Jet2.com will connect Prague to Birmingham starting November 3.

Airbus A320, with a capacity of 144 seats, will fly the route from Prague to Doha, operated by Qatar Airways. “Qatar Airways initially wanted to prepare a bigger airplane, probably the new Dreamliner with a seating capacity of 250, but not yet. It could be seen at the Prague airport in Spring 2018,” states Věra Janičinová, director of ticket sales at Student Agency. The airport estimates that more than 40 000 people will fly the new connections annually.

Ryanair will offer frequent flights to Eindhoven and Barcelona, available every day. The airline will also fly five times a week to Budapest and four times a week to Madrid. Flights from Prague to Bologna, Edinburgh, Krakow, and Malaga will also be added to the timetable.
