Pařížská and Na Příkopě street have been ranked the 22nd most expensive shopping street in the world. The survey ranked the most expensive retail street from each country by their rental value. Czech Republic's entry climbed one position from its ranking last year, with a 10% rise in rental price.

Fifth Avenue in New York came in at first place, Causeway Bay in Hong Kong was second and New Bond Street in London was ranked third. Milan's Via Montenapoleone and Paris's Avenue des Champs Élysées rank fourth and fifth respectively.

The report, which was carried out by consultants, Cushman & Wakefield, also noted that retail in the Czech Republic relies heavily on tourist shoppers so e-commerce has not had such a significant impact on stores as elsewhere in Europe.
