The bill is going to be discussed again in the lower house. The proposal comes after the fail of a previous ban issued some months ago, which expect a partial ban on smoking in restaurants.

This time a full ban is at stake, and the focusing points of it have been highlighted to avoid another fail at the vote.

The government hopes for a quick approval at first reading so the law can be passed before the holidays.

If the ban gets approved before October, restaurant owners will have two months to keep up with the law and take the appropriate measures.
