Visitors will have the opportunity to taste and purchase a variety of interesting and unusual products. You'll find a wide selection of cheeses, sausages, pâtés, olives and olive oil, wine and sweets such as ice cream and French crèpes, and a variety of other items, such as products made from lavender.
The market takes place on Kampa Island under Charles Bridge, on the Mala Strana side and will be opened by the French ambassador to the Czech Republic at 10 am on Thursday (Bastille Day in France).
The atmosphere of this classic French market will be, as always, enhanced by special decorations inspired by the French “tricolore” as well as live music.
2018 marks the tenth anniversary of this market. Organizers will welcome even more exhibitors and vendors of organic wines from Cévennes, terrines of the black pig from the Limousin region, as well as virgin oils from Huilerie Beaujolaise.
Everything mentioned is accompanied by live music every day from 2 pm, special decoration, concerts, and even dance parties.
