The ice rink in Letná Park will open on Friday 1st December until February 18th. Like last year, it will be the largest open-air rink in Prague at 40 x 20 metres. Admission is free and, if you don't have your own boots, you can rent boots there for a fee.

"For the next three years, we want to offer a similar model to the Prague visitors as last year. The ice rink will host a cultural program, music, refreshment stalls and skating. Entrance to the area will be free for visitors. We plan to run the ice rink from December to February. Depending on the weather and the interest of the residents of Prague, the operation may be extended or shortened," said Deputy Mayor of Prague, Petr Dolínek.

The running costs of the ice rink will be 14 million crowns. The rink will host a program of cultural events and stalls, as well as public ice skating. It will be located near the Sparta football field and open daily from 9am to 9 pm.
