Grand Restaurant Prize Awarded to Entrée in Olomouc

The 12th annual Maurer Grand Restaurant prize has been awarded to a restaurant outside the capital, Entrée, in Olomouc. The prize is part of a culinary guide to the Czech Republic that rates the best fine dining experiences in the country. 

This year's prize was won by head chef, Přemek Forejtem. He has previously worked in L'Autre Pied, a michelin star London restaurant and a fish and sushi restaurant in Brno. 

In second place was Radisson Blu Alcron Hotel, headed by Chef Roman Paulus, and third place was awarded to Terasa U Zlaté studně with chef Pavel Sapík.

The judging is done by food critics who visit the restaurant undercover. They rate not only the quality of the dishes but also the interior decor.
