Yesterday the French Food Market opened its doors again for all Prague citizens and its guests. The location chosen is very romantic – the market is held nearby the Charles Bridge, on Kampa Island, at Na Kampě Square.
It is the 9th edition of Traditional French Market that you can check out from 12th until 17th of July, 2016. The Market is opened daily from 10am-8pm. The theme of this year is ‘La vie en rose’, which literally means ‘Life in the Pink Color/Through Rose-Tinted Glasses’.
Are you ready for sausages from Auvergne, wines from Bordeaux, Languedoc or Bourgogne, pancakes and oysters from Brittany, lavender from Provence, Armagnac from Gascogne, cheeses from all over France, and much more? The Market gives us an opportunity not just to taste and buy unique products of France, but at first enjoy the atmosphere, have small talks, while drinking incredible wine, meet new people and have fun.
Everything mentioned is accompanied by live music every day from 2pm, special decoration, concerts, and even dance parties. Stop for a minute, leave all your problems behind and relax right in the heart of Europe, being at two places at the same time, enjoying the perfect union of France and the Czech Republic.
Hurry up, French lovers, and do not miss a chance!
