Last year, the most popular country for a vacation became Slovakia. Croatia is no longer considered the first destination for Czech tourists (- 8% during 2015).
According to the Association of Czech Tour Operators and Agencies, Czechs were afraid of terrorist attacks and for geopolitical reasons, they chose neighboring Germany and Slovakia instead of Egypt (-37% during 2015) and Greece.
Last year, Czechs spent on average 7.7 days abroad. Expenses for one person decreased to 12.468 CZK.
