New modern building Palác Národní will appear on the corner of Národní třída and Mikulandská street. There will be a variety of shops, restaurants, and offices. The project is planned to be implemented in a year. 700 million crowns will be invested into the project.
Before, there was a suggestion of building a luxury hotel, but the architect Stanislav Fiala proposed to design a multi-functional modern building made of glass. The reason is that in recent years the number of tourists has decreased, and the number of hotels in Prague is sufficient, so the investor decided to build a shopping center with offices.
The plans are 2 479 m2 – for shops and restaurants; 7 655 m2 on the above floors is for offices and studios; the rooftop of the Palace will be covered by the garden. Moreover, on some floors, green terraces will be created to compensate the lack of greenery on the avenue.
Go green and modern!
Do you, guys, think those two can go together without any controversy?
