The Czech Republic or Czechia is considered to be a proper multicultural country. No wonder, as there are around 250000 foreigners legally living in the country. If you are an expat here and feel like needing a sip of your native land, take your chance to visit the annual International Folklore Festival in Prague.

Amateur and professional dancers and singers from around Europe, Africa and Asia will be performing on the mounted scenes during three days. 70 collectives are expected to take part in the event.

This year the start off will be marked by a parade around the central streets of Prague (28.07 at 10 am, Staroměstské náměstí). The scenes are to be set on Alšovo nábřeží, Hradčanské náměstí and Náměstí Republiky.
