The City of Prague Museum has prepared a rich programme for the 125th anniversary of the Petřín Tower which will take place on 20 August 2016, from 11 am to 5 pm, and on 21 August, from 10 am to 8 pm.

A guided tour of Petřín in Czech will start at 11 am with Tomáš Dvořák, the curator of the permanent exhibition at the Petřín Observation Tower.

Will follow magic performances of Grin, the magician, creative workshop for families with children while on Sunday, 21 August, are expected music performances and concerts.

Petřín Tower was inspired by the Parisian Eiffel Tower, which the Czech Tourist Club members saw during their visit of The Universal Exposition of 1889. Nowadays it offers several attractions for adults and children, such as a mirror maze or Štefánik Observatory.
